Paperwork People provides Legal Document Assistant (LDA) services for clients throughout the State of California. We prepare California deeds and related documents, powers of attorney, affidavits of death of joint tenant or trustee, transfer-on-death deeds, homestead declarations, manufactured home transfer documents through the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), DMV paperwork, substitutions of trustee and full reconveyance documents, also known as Sub & Recons, notes and deeds of trust, and other legal documents at the direction of the client.
An LDA is a trained and registered professional who prepares legal documents at the direction of the client. LDAs are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice or represent clients in court, but they can assist individuals who are handling their own legal matters by preparing and filing the necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
We prepare and complete a variety of real estate, title-related, and self-help legal documents at your direction for properties and clients throughout the State of California. We commonly help with situations such as adding someone to title, transferring property into or out of a trust, preparing a transfer-on-death deed, documenting a private loan secured by real property, or removing a deceased person from title to help keep property records current and accurate.
In addition, we handle HCD and DMV paperwork for manufactured homes, including ownership transfers, title corrections, and related documentation to help keep everything properly filed and compliant.
Paperwork People is based in Hemet, California and provides Legal Document Assistant services for clients throughout Riverside County and the State of California. We commonly assist clients with deed preparation, title-related documents, HCD paperwork, and recording documents for properties in Hemet, San Jacinto, Winchester, Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula, Beaumont, Banning, Moreno Valley, Riverside, Perris, Lake Elsinore, Corona, and surrounding California communities.
For Riverside County properties, full-service options may include document preparation, mobile notary service, delivery to the Riverside County Recorder, and return of the original recorded document by mail. For properties outside Riverside County, completed documents may be mailed to the appropriate county recorder.

Paperwork People also prepares a variety of California Power of Attorney documents at the direction of the client, including financial powers of attorney, advance health care directives, travel consent forms for minors, and limited powers of attorney.
Documents may be prepared using California statutory forms, attorney-prepared forms, forms provided by the client, or other appropriate self-help forms, depending on the client’s needs and instructions.
Please note that clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information, including any specific wording or requirements requested by the receiving agency, financial institution, health care provider, school, or other third party. All prices are subject to change. These are starting fees for document preparation completed virtually. Documents are emailed to the client for review, final approval, printing, and submission on their own.
Examples are grant deeds, trust transfer deeds, affidavit of death of joint tenant, transfer on death deed, etc. Deed preparation includes supporting documents required by the county/tax assessor's office such as cover sheets, PCOR, DTT and/or legal description, as needed.
When multiple deeds are prepared for the same property at the same time, a discount applies to the second and subsequent deeds.
Certain property transfers may qualify for a Parent/Child Exclusion to help avoid higher property taxes. If you believe you qualify, we can prepare the paperwork as an add-on service.

A Financial Power of Attorney allows someone you choose to handle financial or property-related matters on your behalf. A Health Care Power of Attorney (or Advance Health Care Directive) allows your chosen person to make medical decisions for you if you are unable to do so yourself. More information can be provided upon request.
Our Full-Service Option provides complete assistance from document preparation to final recording, including mobile notary and recording services, as required and for your convenience.
Manufactured home title transfers can be complicated, with documents often required by HCD, the County, the DMV, or even a combination of these agencies. Because original documents must be picked up and signed, this service is available only at full-service pricing.
Pricing varies based on the documents needed, missing paperwork, whether the transfer is a purchase or gift, and other factors. Please call to discuss your situation.
County fees and taxes are not included. Additional fees apply for notary services outside Hemet, San Jacinto, or Winchester. For properties outside Riverside County, completed forms will be mailed to the recorder rather than hand-delivered.
All documents must be prepared together, signed at the same time and location, and submitted for recording as one set. Discounted price applies to the second and subsequent deeds in a single transaction.

This service includes preparation of a single Power of Attorney (POA) with mobile notary service in Hemet, San Jacinto, or Winchester. Additional documents may be notarized at the same appointment for $15 per signature.
